I met one of the Marilyn Manson family
I was having a drink after work with a friend in the hotel bar next to the cinema I worked in. I noticed all these goths glued to the window in the bar… I asked a guy sitting near me who they were waiting for. He told me Marilyn Manson. I asked if he and his friends had come from the gig too. He said yes.
I told him I wasn’t a big Manson fan. That his covers were okay, but that I thought he preyed upon depressive teens to make his millions. That is was all a bit ‘put on’. And that I much prefer Nine Inch Nails.
Marilyn Manson’s drummer Chris Vrenna just nodded.
